We will revert to Phase 1 of our Back-to-Church Plan beginning this Sunday, 8/15.
This change is in response to the recent surge of COVID-19 cases in Unicoi County and the updated CDC recommendation for vaccinated individuals to again use face coverings indoors. Please consult the updated document in the link below for full details, including our recommendation of mask usage and social distancing for both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. The leadership team will continue to monitor COVID-19 data for Unicoi County on a weekly basis so as to respond quickly to changes in the situation and update our community accordingly.
This only impacts indoor services and activities at this time, and future outdoor events remain unchanged. Wednesday night adult bible study will continue outside near the fire-pit (with a Zoom option), upcoming Wednesday night Action Theater program (beginning 9/8) will be outside, and the previously planned trip to Wetlands Waterpark (8/14) and the FCC Erwin picnic (8/29) will continue as planned.
If you are particularly vulnerable or otherwise concerned about in-person activities at this time, please join us online for Sunday morning worship or Wednesday night Bible study, which will remain online for the foreseeable future.
