In-person Gatherings Suspended

We have made the difficult decision to cancel in-person services beginning this Sunday, August 2nd and until further notice. We will revert to online worship services which may be accessed via Facebook, YouTube, or our website.

This decision is in response to the rising COVID-19 activity in Unicoi County and throughout the region. This is not a reaction to any known or suspected cases in the church community, nor to any non-compliance with Phase 1 of our Back-to-Church Plan. While compliance to this plan has been excellent and we have been able to meet in person safely and responsibly for the last several weeks, the recent preponderance of local cases presents an abnormally high risk for in-person services.

We will evaluate a return to in-person services on a biweekly basis, advised by the Tennessee Department of Health guidelines and community spread metrics for Unicoi County. Our priority is to return to meeting in-person as soon as it is reasonably safe. Until that time, we look forward to worshiping with you through our online services.

Please continue in prayer for the many people affected by COVID-19—those suffering from the disease and those impacted spiritually, emotionally, and economically. If you have any questions, concerns, or needs, please message our team on Facebook, email to mail@fccerwin.org, or contact a member of the ministry/leadership team directly.
