What to Expect

Here is some of what you can expect on your first visit:

Friendly faces that are happy you are there.

We love to make guests feel welcome in a variety of ways ranging from casual conversation to free gifts like a chocolate bar to all first-time visitors. Come expecting at least one person to get to know you personally and feel free to ask any questions of anyone around you.

Energetic expressions of both modern and traditional worship.

We consider it an honor to invite you into the presence of God in worship. Music plays a key role in that and we have several talented musicians that lead using a variety of styles. Formal rituals and informal reactions to God’s Spirit both play a role in how we honor God each week.

Thoughtful messages, meditations, and prayers offered by everyday people.

We are not all experts, theologians, or eloquent poets, but we all have a voice and a way we are living God’s grace to share with one another. Many people, men and women, young and old, rich and poor, contribute to our times of worship in a variety of way.

Age-appropriate opportunities for kids of all ages and abilities.

We jump at the chance to make a positive impact on the lives of young people in our community. In addition to all our regular church programs for infants, toddlers, kids, and youth, we are leading the way in providing ministry to kids with special needs, like severe hunger.

A dedicated team of mission minded community leaders.

We are bound together as a church family by our sense of common calling to fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is the head of the church. Those who lead in various ways do so as servants, with love toward one another, according to the pattern established by Jesus himself.
